Markets & food
In Jeonju, makgeolli comes by the kettle, not the bottle
Order one kettle and a full spread of side dishes arrives with it, and every extra kettle brings a fresh set of dishes. The spread is included in the price of the drink, so what reaches your table that day depends on how many kettles you empty. Samcheon-dong is the original alley, and Jeonju City also lists Gyeongwon-dong, Seosin-dong, Inhu and Ua-dong.

Eating your way through Seoul's markets
Each market has its own character. Gwangjang for a food alley, Noryangjin for raw fish picked off the ice, Namdaemun to wander widely, Ikseon-dong for a café-alley mood.
